It’s throwback Thursday and as usual, we bring you all the best motion picture stories of yesteryears. I remember watching a particular series aired on Africa Independent Television (AIT) a few years ago, it was one of the most popular television drama at that time. If I recall correctly, it was usually aired on Sundays and almost everyone who was a tv person fell in love with the show.
The series told the story of the everyday lives of a typical family living in Lagos and the lives of their neighbors, the many dramas that happen in the city. The drama series was produced by Tajudeen Adepetu, who brought his A game to the show. It starred top-notch entertainers in the film industry like the late Sam Loco Efe, Norbert Young, Ignis Ekwe, Seun Soremi, Desmond Elliot, Ejiro Okurame, Juliet Martin-Obazie and many more.
The drama series was filled with a lot of comedy, intrigue, suspense and fun scenes. Everyday People had an exciting soundtrack that got everyone singing along whenever the show comes up on Television and the song is still in the hearts of many, it won’t be forgotten in a hurry. The series can be found on YouTube and there are a few online television stations that air it as part of their retro collection. You can watch it and relive old times.
I remember the many hilarious comments and scenes by the same Sam Loco Efe. He was always a delight to watch. Can you remember the series? What were your favourite scenes, share in the comment section, let’s talk.
